№ 01 — STATIC REGIME
SELF-ADJUSTING FRICTION

Below threshold, friction matches the applied force exactly. The net force vanishes, the block stays put. Friction here is a response, not a constant.

№ 02 — KINETIC REGIME
BOND BREAKS, BLOCK MOVES

Once F > μₛN, friction collapses to μₖN (μₖ < μₛ). The block accelerates by a = (F − μₖN) / m. Remove the push and kinetic friction brings it back to rest.
